Colombian police detains rebel who kidnaps, kills Americans

BOGOTA, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Colombian police have detained a rebel accused of kidnapping and killing U.S. citizens, authorities said Saturday. Jose Armando Cadena Cabrera, alias "Bronco," was arrested during an operation in the capital launched by the police on Friday, said Luis Gabriel Ramirez, commander of the Criminal Investigation Office of the National Police.
