Neshek's rehab smooth; he's soon ready for mound

Minnesota Twins reliever Pat Neshek is two weeks away from throwing off a mound. The right-hander has been playing catch daily since early August in his recovery from a partially torn ligament in his elbow. In an e-mail to The Associated Press, Neshek said the process is going smoothly and he's experiencing no pain. The end of his rehab is scheduled for November 14.
