TUI to discuss Hapag sale this weekend -shareholder

OSLO, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Germany's TUI AG (TUIGn.DE: ) will hold a board meeting over the weekend at which it also discuss a possible sale of its container shipping unit Hapag-Lloyd, a TUI shareholder said on Friday. "We know there is a board meeting at TUI during the weekend and that this issue is on the agenda", Tor Olav Troim, an aide to Norwegian shipping tycoon John Fredriksen, told Reuters in a telephone interview. He said that Fredriksen was not against the sale of the world's fifth-largest container shipping group, but it may not be the best move considering the current financial crisis.
