Angola: Minister Pledges to Work Toward Mineral Resources Exploitation

Posted to the web 10 October 2008 Luanda The full exploitation of the country's mineral resources and the drop in prices of building materials of mineral origin will characterise, as from 2008, the actions of Geology and Mining Ministry, said Thursday in Luanda, the new minister, Mankenda Ambroise. Speaking at the presenting ceremony to the technicians of the sector, Mankenda Ambroise said that the ministry will also focus its activity on combat for the increase of jobs in mining industry, thus contributing to reduction of unemployment and poverty rate in the country....
