Angola: MED to Universalize Compulsory Education By 2015

Posted to the web 10 October 2008 Luanda The national director for general education, Luísa Grilo, Thursday in Luanda said that the Ministry of Education (MED) wants until 2015 to universalize compulsory education for children over five years old. Speaking to Angop, about the government projects focused on the expansion, protection and improvement of education in first childhood , Luísa grilo, referred that in order to make the education more comprehensive in the coming years, MED has as priorities the expansion of classrooms to cater for children, either from churches, solidarity institutions or from the primary teaching.
