Training and the provision of essential skills were in focus today as the NI Employment and Learning Minister Sir Reg Empey attended an awards ceremony. The event for Essential Skills Learning at NI Water marked the successful completion of a training programme by 120 employees with the support of the NI Union Learning Fund. Speaking at the event in NI Water's Learning and Development Training Centre in Antrim, Sir Reg said: "Today's celebration is an excellent example of what can be achieved when all interested parties, employers, unions, training providers and government work together in partnership to deliver the shared goal of investing in and promoting the skills of the workforce.
