Written by Sam on October 9th, 2008 It’s getting to be that time now, less than a month left so I suppose I’ll make my predictions for the Senate races. In 2006 I had about 50% accuracy so we’ll see if I’m more on the dime this time. I’m only going to mention the races that are actually competitive or have open seats. There are several incumbents up for reelection who are in no danger whatsoever. Maine - Susan Collins is safe. This could have been a more competitive race and she won’t win with the landslide that Snowe did in 2006, but she’s been polling 10 points over her opponent consistently throughout the year.
