Good Samaritans help officer in attack

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - An off-duty Prince William County police officer who attacked by a robbery suspect probably was saved by a Good Samaritan's intervention, the police chief said Friday. The officer, who was not identified, was working at Potomac Hospital Thursday about 9:50 p.m. when a man told him someone had stolen his cell phone.
