Hatton hopes to be a hit with Oasis

HITMAN Ricky Hatton will join Oasis on stage in Liverpool later this month as he prepares to launch his own pop career. The Hattersley fighter is hoping some of their musical talent will rub off before he records a charity Christmas single. The 29-year-old is planning to release his version of Jeff Beck's 60s hit Hi-Ho Silver Lining. Hatton and comedian pal Joey Blower have already written a version of the song, titled Hi Ho Ricky Hatton which has been played on several occasions during the build-up to the fighter's clashes.
