Las Vegas City Council has unveiled a playful logo for its so-called "mob" museum set to open in 2010. At a council meeting on Tuesday, officials revealed the name and marketing strategy for the new facility: The Las Vegas Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement. One logo dubs it "The (redacted) Museum," with "Mob" being the word redacted. "I don't think anybody is able to do tongue-in-cheek the way Las Vegas can do it," said Mayor Oscar Goodman. The museum has been a longtime pet project of Goodman, a former criminal defence lawyer who once represented organized crime figures such as Meyer Lansky and Anthony (Tony the Ant) Spilotro.
