Prince William to expand his royal role

Prince William is preparing to swap his military uniform for a smart suit in his new job as a Whitehall civil servant. The extra duties, which will be announced by Clarence House, the Prince of Wales's private office, are part of the 26-year-old's education as a future king. As well as taking on a larger role as a senior representative of the Queen, and new charity work, William is to learn about government and the judiciary from the New Year.
