New York, July 26: The condition of cyclone victims in Myanmar still remains grim even after three months of the calamity, said the United Nations. "The situation in Myanmar remains in dire straits," said Chris Kaye, country director for the UN World Food Programme (WFP), an agency on the frontline of relief efforts in the country, battered by the deadly cyclone Nargis in early May. The UN agency yesterday noted that hundreds of thousands of children and adults in Myanmar are in need of critical humanitarian assistance, saying "The vast majority of families simply don't have enough to eat."
