Have you ever seen, or have you heard of, or can you imagine some weasely punk kid on a playground taunting a much larger kid because he has a big brother who can kick hell out of the other kid? Article 6 of the United States Constitution states that treaties entered into by the United States become the “supreme law of the land.” I don’t know about George Bush’s or Antonin Scalia’s reading acumen, but to me “supreme” means, well, you know, supreme, nothing higher. And if it’s a law, it’s a law ya gotta follow.
