Jordan renews support for Sudan in ICC-Khartoum dispute

AMMAN, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Thursday reiterated its support for Sudan's efforts to realize national reconciliation, noting the kingdom's stance on the International Criminal Court (ICC)-Khartoum dispute is in line with the Arab League (AL), local daily Jordan Times reported on Friday. Royal Court chief Bassem Awadallah said Jordan is keen on Sudan's security, sovereignty and stability, and backs the country's national reconciliation process. He stressed that Jordan's stand on the ICC indictment crisis comes in line with that of AL, which was put forward at a recent AL foreign ministers' meeting in Cairo.
