Spectators at London's 2012 Olympics could see England football stars like Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard going for gold after the chairman of the British Olympic Association has pledged to enter a Great Britain team in the games. It will also add some extra glamour to the stands if WAGs like Coleen McLoughlin and Alex Curran attend to cheer them to victory. England has not fielded a football team in the Olympics since 1972 when amateur players represented the country.
