It is the latest initiative to improve relations across the Taiwan Strait. The organisers of the group wedding are looking for 39 couples to take part in the ceremony in one of Taiwan's best-known beauty spots, Sun Moon Lake. The Taiwanese couples will be taken to Beijing beforehand to visit some of China's main attractions.
