Asian junior title for Iranian wrestlers

Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team stood first in the Asian Junior Wrestling Championships in Doha, Qatar by winning four gold medals. The Iranian squad bagged four gold, two silver and one bronze medal to win the title gaining 72 points at the championship. Kazakhstan (66 points), South Korea (52 points), Kyrgyzstan (51 points) and Iraq (43 points) came second to fifth respectively. Iran's Saeed Abd Vali (66-kg), Babak Qorbani (84-kg), Mohammad- Reza Akbari (96-kg), and Bashir Babajanzadeh (120-kg) won gold medals. Shirzad Beheshti (50-kg) and Mohsen Hajipour (55-kg) won silver medals while Abouzar Nourzad was awarded the bronze in the 60-kg category.
