TIM WHARNSBY From Friday's Globe and Mail MONTREAL — The Toronto Maple Leafs fortified their young roster yesterday with the acquisition of Mikhail Grabovski, a forward with only 27 games of NHL experience but a slick prospect who will compete for the role of the Leafs' top-line centre. The Leafs landed Grabovski, an unsigned restricted free agent, from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Toronto's 2010 second-round draft selection and the rights to prospect Greg Pateryn, whom the Leafs chose in the fifth round of the NHL entry draft last month. Toronto also re-signed forward Dominic Moore to a one-year deal and forward John Mitchell for two years. Undrafted right winger Greg Scott of Victoria signed a three-year entry-level contract.
