Tony Mokbel's girlfriend and child jet in

THE girlfriend of Tony Mokbel is expected to arrive at Melbourne Airport early today from Greece. Danielle McGuire was scheduled to arrive on a flight from Athens about 12.30am (AEST), about two years after she was last in Melbourne. Ms McGuire, 36, left Australia in 2006, months after her boyfriend fled the country while on bail. The pair conceived their 17-month-old daughter, Renate, after she joined Mr Mokbel on the run. She was expected to fly in with her mother this morning. Ms McGuire, who also has a 13-year-old daughter Brittany, stayed in Greece as Mr Mokbel fought an 11-month legal battle to avoid extradition to Australia.
